Hurry! 2 spaces left for Personal Touch

Thursday, October 9th, 2008
That’s right, folks. Just two spaces left for our first ever personal training session! This six-week session starts Oct. 11 – THIS SATURDAY — at 10:30 am, and will be held at Better Body’s Health Club. I decided to combine two different personal training sessions into one. For the first half hour, we will “Kick It To the Core” with strength training work for our abdominals, obliques and core muscles. The last half hour will be devoted to “Stretch Your Options,” where we will delve into deeper, muscle-lengthening stretches. Love the way yoga makes you feel? You will L-O-V-E this session!

Keep in mind this is a personal training session. The class size is limited because the instructor needs to have the time to work with each participant on a one-on-one basis. You are used to Jazzercise instructors staying up on stage, and teaching in general to everyone. This session is different. In Personal Touch, the Jazzercise instructor stays off the stage, and will work with each student to gently and safely get you to correct positioning and proper movement so you feel the maximum benefit of each and every move.

Jazzercise recommends we charge $90 for a session of Stretch Your Options, but you all know I love a deal. So I decided we will do Stretch Your Options AND last year’s Kick It To the Core in one packed session AND reduce the price to $60 for a six-week session! Plus, you get a really cute sports towel when you sign up!

If you’re interested, call me (209-224-4976), email me (kris@fitspirit.net) or better yet, come to class and sign up ASAP!

Evening classes on their way!

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

I am very happy to report that, effective March 17, I will be adding evening classes to the Galt Jazzercise lineup! The new schedule is as follows:

  • Mondays: 6 pm
  • Thursdays: 6 pm
  • Saturdays: 9 am

The location is Miss Diane’s Learning Center, 12911 Midway Ave. From Twin Cities Road, go west, over the railroad tracks, and turn left on Midway Ave, which is right before the Sheriff’s Training Center.

NOTE: Only the two evening classes are at Miss Diane’s Learning Center. The Saturday morning class is at the Galt Dance Center, 611 B Street. Morning classes are still Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (and now Saturdays) at 9 am at the Galt Dance Center. Students who have signed up for EFT are welcome at all classes for the same low price.

You’ll want to bring a mat and/or towel, and wear comfortable clothing to workout (read: sweat!) in. Don’t forget comfortable, supportive exercise shoes and a bottle of water!
